So, if you've never had a fitness routine before - or if it's been a while since you intentionally got your heart rate up, there's no time like the present
The key to keeping healthy is regular exercise. And here's some basics advice from me to you on how to be healthy, with my healthy living tips.
But first let me tell you something no one else will - when you first start an exercise routine, you will not feel good right away.
In fact, the first two weeks may be rough.
Your body is trying to adjust and you could find yourself tired, fatigued and cranky.
I think some people start exercising thinking that they are going to feel great from day one and it just doesn't happen so they stop.
STICK WITH IT.
Remember, you're working to keep healthy.
The first two weeks are your exercising initiation.
Once it's over, the benefits will start coming.
Think positive. Emotional Health.
I used to think of keeping healthy as punishment.
Attitude is everything - make yours positive.
If you hear negativity creeping in, banish it at once.
Turn it off.
Make time to exercise.
You'll never “find the time," you have to make it.
First thing in the morning is best, as things can crop up later in the day.
Remember why you want to do it.
Yet, the most important thing is why you do want to.
Yes, you want to keep healthy, but are you trying to lose weight?
Build strength? Improve your heart health?
Focus on these when you feel your motivation diminishing.
Keeping healthy is an ongoing process.
